Paris en 2 dias y visitar Versalles 

Hace un par de meses estuvimos en Paris por 2 días para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi hermana mayor y fue toda una aventura, yo ya había estado en Paris algunas veces pero nunca la había visto bajo la nieve y fue maravilloso ver la Torre eiffel y los campos Elíseos de blanco fue espectacular.

Conocer Paris en 2 días y visitar Versalles es posible? Si! y nosotras somos la prueba que aún con nieve y todo pudimos verla y hacer lo esencial en dos dias.

Aquí te dejo unos #traveltips con una miniguia de que cosas que ver y hacer en Paris en dos dia incluido Versalles. Eso si te advierto que vas tener que caminar bastante, pero no pasa nada si tu quieres conocer la ciudad de las Luces lo vas a lograr.

Paris in two days + visit Versalles

2 months ago we traveled to Paris for 2 days to celebrate my older sister’s birthday and it was so fun, I must to say that I already been in Paris but I’ve never saw it under the snow and it was so romantic to see the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysees under the snow It was an amazing and unforgettable trip with my sisters and nice.

Discovering Paris in 2 days + visit Versailles is possible? Yes! and we are the proof that even with snow and we could  visit the most essential places in two days plus Versailles 

Here I leave you some #traveltips with a mini-guide about what things to do and see in Paris on two days including Versailles. I only warn you that you have to walk a lot, but is nothing if you really want to know the city of Lights you will achieve. 

Dia 1.

11:00 am  salida desde el arco del Triunfo (fotito de día)

metro hacia el Trocadero (aquí se hacen las típicas fotos de la torre Eiffel) almorzamos unos paninis que están allí mismo para no perder tiempo y seguimos caminando hacia la torre Eiffel (fotitos) cruzamos los Campos Elíseos y hacia el final buscamos un café.

Metro hacia el Barrio Latino donde nos deleitamos con unos creps de chocolate infaltable en tu visita a París, y seguimos caminando hasta llegar a la Notre Dame(más s fotitos) entramos a la iglesia y suerte justo habia misa.

Caminar al lado del Rio Siena es un must y llegamos hasta el Museo Du louvre después volvimos a coger el metro para llegar al Arco del Triunfo (su respectiva fotito de noche) y luego ya ha cenar con nuestro querido amigo Richard que nos albergo por dos noches.

11:00 am departure from the Arc de Triomphe (photo time) subway to the Trocadero (here are the typical pictures of the Eiffel Tower) we had some paninis that are there to not waste time and we continued walking towards the Eiffel Tower (fotitos) we crossed the Champs Elysees and walked towards until the end we looked for a coffee.

Metro to the Latin Quarter where we delighted with some chocolate crepe a must when you visit Paris, then we continued walking until we reach the Notre Dame (more pics) we entered the church and they were doing the mass.

After that we walked next to the River Siena and we arrived to the Du Louvre Museum then we come back to the subway direction Arc de Triomphe (more pics) and then we had dinner with our dear friend Richard.

Dia 2:

Visita a Versalles, es muy fácil llegar desde la estación central de trenes, compras ese mismo día los tickets el tren es directo. Una vez allí solo preguntar el camino y llegar es fácil.

Visitar el castillo te llevara unas 2 horas mas otras 2 si quieres ver los jardines y la casa de Maria Antonieta(de preferencia alquila unas bicicletas), lo que te toma mas tiempo son las inmensas colas para los tickets y luego para entrar. Nosotros solo paseamos por los jardines almorzamos unos bocadillos y fuimos por unos cafes.

3.30 pm de regreso a París con en tren y luego metro hacia el Sacre Coure, la estación de metro mas cercana te deja abajo igualmente tienes que subir unas cuantas escaleras para llegar a la cima y no veas como nos empezó a nevar otra vez con todo igual subimos, entramos a ver La basílica y desde allí se ve Todo París y verla bajo la niebla, la nieve fue de ensueño, las luces empezaban alumbrar la ciudad y fue todo tan romántico.

Al bajar cogimos otro camino, por detras de la Basilica esta el Barrio de los artistas y seguimos bajando la calle con dirección hacia el Moulin Rouge entonces fue tiempo de un aperitivo antes de ir a cenar a casa de una amiga.

A la mañana siguiente era nuestro vuelo que casi se cancela por la nieve y nos dejaron esperando como 6 horas pero eso ya es una historia mas para nuestra anécdota.

Day 2

9;30 am We went to Versailles, it is very easy to get from the central train station, you also can purchases the tickets the same day, the train is direct. Once there, you just follow the signs or ask someone you can’t get lost. visiting the castle will take you about 2 hours plus another 2 hours if you want to see the gardens and Maria Antonieta’s house (preferably rent bicycles).

What takes longer is the huge rows  for buying the tickets and to enter. we just walked through the gardens and had some sandwiches and went for some coffee.

3.30 pm back to Paris by train and then subway to the Sacre Coure, the nearest subway station drops you down so you have to climb a some stairs to get to the top you also can take the tram.

once you arrived to the top you will see all the city: imagine me looking at Paris under the fog and the snow was a dream, the lights began to illuminate the city and it was all so romantic. after you enter the Basilica just behind is the Artists’ Quarter check around and just continued down to the street direction to the Moulin Rouge, it was almost 7 so it was time for an aperitif before going to dinner at a friend’s house.

The next morning it was our flight that was almost canceled by the snow and they left us waiting like 6 hours but that is already one more story for our anecdote.

#traveltips para conocer Paris en 2 dias.

Tickets: Definitivamente si estas pensando entrar al Louvre o subir a la torre Eiffel tendrías que reservar online así te evitas de colas. Si no escápate entrar a lugares donde haya que esperar mucho para entrar.

Qué comer: Para almorzar rápido prueba unos paninis y para un postre unos crepes. yummy

Transporte: el metro (a mi parecer es el mas conveniente) ya que esta bien comunicado con todas los lugares turísticos, también hay taxis pero en hora punta va muy lento. Otra opción son los buses turísticos y los tickets de 1 o 2 días ya que te dejaran exactamente en los puntos de interés, en verano también puedes alquilar bicicletas.

#traveltips to see Paris in 2 days.

Tickets: Definitely if you are thinking of entering the Louvre or going up to the Eiffel Tower you would have to book online so you avoid queues. If you do not escape, go to places where you have to wait a long time to enter.

What to eat: “Canard” try pato for lunch and for a quick lunch paninis(sandwich) and for a dessert some creps. yummy

Transport: the subway is the really convenient since it is well connected with all the tourist places, there are also taxis but at rush hour it is very slow, another option are the tourist buses for 1 or 2 days tickets as they are convenient if its your first time and you don’t want to lost many time cause they leave you exactly in tourists stops. In summer you also can rent a bike.

Nuestro primer viaje juntas y vaya que lo pasamos muy bien, riéndonos todo el tiempo pasando frío por momentos pero momentos anecdóticos que siempre quedaran en el recuerdo y los que vendrán.

This was our first trip together with my sister and my nice, we laughed a lot and sometimes it freaking frozen but enjoy our time together even at the last moment when we have to wait 6 hours!!!! in the airport to come back because it was snowing like if there were no future.
